Ashstar is a small but muscular she-cat. She has medium-sized paws and large ears. Her paws pads are thick from the many moons of living in the cave territory of SpiritClan. Her pelt is a silvery-grey colour with dark-grey tabby markings. Her eyes are a brilliant yellow, and rather large. Their size helps her see in the darkness of SpiritClan's underground camp.
Personality:
Ashstar is a fair leader when it comes to Clan business. She enforces the warrior code, but her punishments aren’t always as tough as they should be. She is generally a kind and understanding cat and cares about every member of her Clan. She tries to be as open as possible so that cats aren’t afraid to approach her. Sometimes she seeks out cats when she feels their distress or sadness in order to help them. She thrives when her Clan is happy and well. When it comes to battles, she knows how to fight. She uses her smaller stature to her advantage. Ashstar also uses her naturally-heightened sense of smell and hearing to help. She has trained herself to ignore her Star Gift when her focus needs to be on battle.
History:
Ashstar was born to Lily of the Forest and Wing of the Dark Raven, two Tribe cats. As a kit she grew up in the Tribe under the watch of the Remedy Teller. She had two brothers named Crow and Lion. She loved listening to the Teller's stories about the different Clans and the Tribe.
When it came time for the ceremony to become a to-be or an apprentice, she was excited. She had an idea of where she wanted to go based on the stories she grew up hearing. She felt blessed when she was granted a Star Gift by StarClan. She knew some cats weren’t given them, and knew it was a great honor. She decided to join SpiritClan with her new-found gift. Their cave life had always intrigued her growing up. Her brother Crow chose to stay in the tribe and Lion chose the forest life of ShadeClan. She trained in SpiritClan under a tom named Moondust. He was also an empath and helped her deal with the overwhelming emotions she had felt since she first received her Gift. He taught her how to fight, hunt, and control her Gift.
When she was granted her warrior name, Ashfeather, she was very happy. She took to the duties of a warrior with great enthusiasm. She would make sure to help anyone who needed it. Her dedication to the Clan was rewarded when she was later named Rabbitstar’s deputy. She served under him for many moons before he retired and became an elder. She has been leader for a while now and makes time to visit her parents and old leader in the Tribe.
